i went to some anime forum one of the topic was what is your best hentai anime?
every one wrote some thing one of them wite an anime name --- so i coped the name and downlaoded the anime and i sow it than i know that hentai is an porn anime so i kept thinking (is 8 year old people in japan see this) .
japan is killing thier own society and culture by puting this hentai thing in their children mind
so do you think about that and why are they stop this?
 
Who ever said hentai was for children??
Do you find find porn movies next to sleeping beauty in video stores??

the fact that it's an animation doesn't mean it's for children! there are adult themed anime (that involve sex, violence or other mature themes) and there are obviously restrictions to when and where those series are broadcasted, and obviously not everyone is allowed to purchase hentai dvds..

so, it's as restricted as common porn, but it's drawn and not filmed. no women hurt in the process (i think

Geez! It's so annoying when people think like this! They either say, "It's cartoons so it must all be for children." or they say, "Anime has too many bad themes or whatever in it. Only adults should watch it." The close minded really annoy me...

Anime isnt just for kids. I mean, there are some that are great for kids like Hamtaro, and maybe bottled fairy((Havent seen it yet)). And then there are some that kids shouldnt watch like Samurai X with all the violence, or Trigun with the violence and alot of swearing. Dont just rule it all into one catagory.
 
I agree with ChAoTic gHoSt (so many caps) that it is not just for children or should be for children...

Infact most anime i think, isn't for children one bit. To me most if not all anime is like a PG-13 or R or X rated Version of Animation...

I highly doubt Japanese children see anything of that sort anymore than children in other parts of the world see real life porn. There is a serious misconception about anime. Either people think it's all for children (which we know it not true) or people think it's all porn (too many well-endowed girls). What people don't understand is that it's a media style that can be targeted at any age group.

but everyone is allowed to downlaod hentai even for free

files and wiht out asking youer age
 
That doesn't mean Japanese children are more inclined to download it ... they don't create hentai with the intention of showing it to children, just like porn isn't created with that intention, but it's even more accessible than hentai is. I can just do a google search to get porn, and that doesn't ask for my age (well, I suppose google has tried to fix that now, but back a few years ago

If that is the case, we better watch out for regular TV series (not just anime) , they are nearly all porn!!

Beside, I dare anyone looking at Haibane Renmei, 12 kingdoms, gunparade orchestra, Hack//Sign, Noein, Blood+, banner of the star, crest of the star and many others to find anything pornographic in there or even remotely ecchi!
 
@Bold: well, they're teenagers who don't know anything about anime and just see the big-breasts and panty-shots and go "ew, anime is so perverted, it's all porn". I actually knew people who would continually say I watched "animated porn"

Also, if you look at todays world, I could find plenty of anime I'm sure that isnt as bad as some of the american movies. I see alot more people making out in the movies with actual people in them then the anime series. So if your just going to nit pick at some anime, your ignoring the other half of the television viewing. In which, the movies are worst then many animes I have seen. If you look at todays celeberties they're wearing less clothing then the anime characters in the anime I've seen. ((Although, the furthest I've gone into ecchi was Love Hina)), You just cant say that about all anime and not look at todays movies. And look at some of the video games coming out! I mean, the cashiers do check the ages on anime too. Someone even asked what Kodocha was rated when I was buying it a few monthes ago. The DVD had a bat with a heart on it's stomche. Now, what could that be rated? oh PG.

If you can find illiul games, movies, music downloads on the internet, I'm sure you can find whatever else you wan. Most people today have no restraint when they want something. Just cause it's there doesnt mean you need to see it.

who saud any thing about movie i was tolking about the efact of hentai in japan society and culture not to compare between movie and anime
 
But you see, your looking at the negativity of some animes. But no one looks at the negativities of movies. You just look and see, "oh, japanese, bad anime, children watch this?!" But you dont look at the movies here in america. The rules that are being loosened. I wasnt trying to compare. Just make a fact that you look at anime and say 'bad' and anything else nothing is said.

You seem to be pointing out hentai, only in a couple animes. But you dont realize how the world around you is acting. Your saying you can download this, sure, but if you walk to a new by highschool, the same things are happening there.
 
So then dont watch the bad ones. Investigate them before you watch them. Learn the plot, the rating maybe, hear what other people have to say about it. Not all anime's are Hentai, in fect, less then half of them I've heard of or seen are hentai. So most should be safe. But just think, Japan isnt as poor as you think it is. Especially since they're the ones creating these cartoons. Im not saying hentai is ok. I totally disaprove of it. But you really shouldnt go making accusations like this.
 
it's easy to find and download pretty much everything on the internet...

hell, most of them don't even download illegal music!! the japanese people are some of the most respectful people i ever met -- if something is forbidden, most of them will stay away from it.

and anyone worried about their children can install software to limit the access to forbidden content.. so, japan is being as negatively influenced as any other country, if not less than the others!

Totally agreeing with you darkdog. They have a heck of a lot more respect then american's do. Even though I'm american, I dont really like what america does. They're so ignorant and dont listen. More respect here would be nice. And with the internet the way it is. Yeah, you can download anything.

By that logic, every child in the world should be watching porn in their native language.

And the movie comparision is compeletely fair. So the Japanese have hentai, other cultures have equal comparisons, such as the West and film.

You acknowledge porn movies are not accessible to minors (at least in video stores). You also said you acknowledge it is the same for hentai.

Then you point out hentai can be downloaded. Ever considered if you make a google search for porn you WILL find a lot of it. I stumble on it without wanting it, so its not hard to find when you do want it!

Finally don't forget that you associate cartoon with children simply because that is what you saw mostly in your culture. The only cartoon or anime they ever saw on TV were for children. But in Japan, it is a part of the culture that drawn up shows are not always for children. So even children don't associate cartoon automaticly as something for them.

Don't underestimate the power of culture enduced behavior during the babies years.
 
Yeah, but thinking about what Bold just said, people that live anywhere other then Japan are probably have more access to porn. Since Japan has some of the most repectable people, I'm sure the parents there keep a better watch on they're children and what they watch then anywhere else in the world.
