I was going to write a dev update post today and went looking for a Maho picture to use and remembered this scene from Girls Und Panzer Das Final part 1 where Maho and Erika are on a video call. I wanted a nice screenshot of Maho using a computer or something as it was a technical post, but I got distracted by this scene and it really made me think how much is hidden in this scene. Just two screenshots are required.



On the surface, we have Erika asking "Is it really ok for me to be the new commander?" and Maho replying with "Don't fret over the results. You should find your own Senshado." Ok, pretty simple right? Erika has a bit of self doubt, Maho is reassuring her, lets get on with the Tankery?

I am a huge fan of Maho, and her lack of presence in Das Final really saddens me (this is literally her entire appearance in part 1 - but don't skip Das final, its still great to watch). I know I'm an idiot, but I actually got some tears in...

Dear Anime Fans,
When I was offered the chance to take over FTV, I did so with the hope and aim to bring it back to a thriving community, like it was back when I joined. Fansub was always something special to me, it helped me find all the anime that I love and was a great community with wonderful people. I wanted to preserve it, and keep it going.

I have operated Fansub.TV for around 6 years at this point, and MATV for even longer, and as each year passes the forum gets quieter and quieter. I keep saying "lets give it one more year" in the hope that I can revive it. Last year an old member returned to us and made the most amazing effort in trying to bring life back into the community, sadly the real world has kept them busy for a while, and it is now apparent the community has declined even further.

Some people have been very critical of my leadership and operation of Fansub, one going as far as saying I killed it. All I can tell you is that I genuinely tried...

The blogs.fansub.tv service is looking rather dead, with only 2 blogs being updated in the past 7 years (!!) it is pretty obvious all of you have abandoned your blogs.
These abandoned blogs are just becoming a giant spam trap, today yet another blog got hit by the spammers, and we now have some 300,000+ comments to remove on that blog alone. This requires a massive amount of work to manually delete them, and it is not fair to put this work onto FTV staff.

Therefore, I believe it is time to shutdown the blog service. I don't like removing content from the internet, therefore:

I am giving all you blog owners one last chance to come forward!

The options are:
1). Keep your blog as is, BUT you must manage it and the comments. You don't have to make regular posts, just make one (so I know you updated it) and look after it.
2). We transfer your blog either to an individual wordpress one or into the main site under the editorial / frontpage (contact us on forum/irc/pm...

Episode 13

Things kick off right where we left things with Miranjo declaring her desire to bring the kingdom to ruin. Dorshe and Hiling are shocked over this bold admission. Dorshe takes a moment to reflect on this sudden outburst and then begins to ponder whether it was Miranjo who brought down Bosse’s wife. He does not have long to reflect as the fiends guarding Miranjo come to bounce! He gives them a good wallop!

The Autumn season was on the whole stronger than summer as while not many shows were truly outstanding many were very enjoyable especially if it is a genre you dig into. This season was especially good in the horror department as we got two good ones with Mieruko-chan and Tricornered Window. Beyond that there is the highly anticipated anime of Jobless Reincarnation part 2 and 86 that for the most part largely delivered on their promises. Whilst the second part of Jobless Reincarnation is not on the same level as its predecessor, it was very good watch and if you liked the first part I would recommend watching it. It is certainly the best isekai of the season. 86 part 2 was a vast improvement over season one but due to production issues the final episodes have been postponed until the early part of 2022. My final review for that will come later so stay tuned.
